New year meal in Crab in Da Bag at big splash, cheers to 2014.

We tried their special cajun sauce. The waiter boy taught us how to enjoy the butter cajun oil by mixing in oil and a dash of lemon juice, it was very oil and also very addictive.

I find Cajun King and Crab in Da bag equally good and also equally expensive! #WhyCajunFoodInSGSoExpensive

Tuck Shop

This is a very familiar place. I used to walk pass this turtle soup restaurant to the bus stop to commute to work when we are living in Sunny Spring back then. The turtle shop had ceased it's business and the new Tuck Shop is the new raving star of Guillemard Road. Finally a not sleazy chill out drinking place on this street.

 

Last memories of Membina

While backing up my SD card, i found some more photos of our first house Membina i took for the property agent. I missed this place, especially it's proximity to town. 

 

Another a year and a half till i can start decorating again :)

An indoor picnic

The picnic of happy three friends supposedly to happen in botanic garden but because of the rain, we switched it to the next only indoor central location we can think of.

 We had a good spread for that afternoon. I made my super sumptuous spinach salad, air fried sotong ball, boiled brocoli with dipping cheese. Sandra made green tea koniyaku and a super sinful but awfully delicious creamy bacon potato salad.

Despite of the odd location, we had a good time catching up :) Happy one friend relocated to Finland, not sure when will be our next picnic session gonna be.

Delicious but too pricey for toast, hope they revise their pricing so more people can enjoy this delicious toast.

Today's menu we had smoked salmon salad, tomato olive focaccia bruschetta, beef goulash and green tea latte.

Thann

I am hooked to Thann ever since i came back from Jessy's place. Bought the petite 10ml bottle at their ION flagship store to perfume our place. They mixed kaffir lime with lemon grass, the smell is so refreshing so relaxing.

New Mattress

A Christmas gift for ourselves this Christmas, Dunlopillo pocket spring mattress. This was an obsoleted model, we got it at a really good bargain. Finally we are getting rid of the firm Seahorse mattress and this deserve a big big horray!

Merry Murdoch Meet

Jessy invited us to her beautifully renovated home for Christmas. We had quite a bit of fun guessing which side of her wall is real and which are false walls.

Penny University

A nice brunch in our hood on Christmas day.

 I like their latte, preferred espresso with five ounce of milk.

 Turkish egg, poached eggs with chicken saggage and sour cream.

Their creamy hollandaise sauce made this egg ben one of the best I ever tasted.
